Job Overview
Aquaculture Development Officer will lead projects to expand sustainable fish farming practices in Cameroon’s coastal and inland regions. This role involves collaborating with local farmers, government agencies, and NGOs to implement aquaculture technologies that increase productivity while preserving ecosystems. Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement aquaculture training programs for smallholder farmers
- Conduct field assessments to identify suitable sites for fish farming infrastructure
- Monitor water quality and fish health in aquaculture systems

- Prepare reports on project impact and sustainability metrics
Required Skills
- Expertise in aquaculture systems (ponds, cages, or recirculating systems)

Education

Salary
