Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Agronomic Research and Development Manager to lead our research initiatives in Garoua, Cameroon. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing agronomic research projects, managing research teams, and developing innovative solutions to improve crop yields and food security.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement agronomic research projects to improve crop yields and food security
• Manage research teams and provide technical guidance on agronomic practices
• Develop and implement innovative solutions to address agricultural challenges
• Collaborate with stakeholders, including farmers, researchers, and policymakers
• Develop and manage research budgets and reports

Required Skills

• Master’s degree in Agronomy, Crop Science, or related field
• 5 years of experience in agronomic research and development
• Strong knowledge of agronomic practices and crop management
• Excellent leadership and management skills
• Strong communication and collaboration skills

Education

A Master’s degree in Agronomy, Crop Science, or related field is required.

Experience

5 years of experience in agronomic research and development is required.

Salary

The salary range for this position is 500,000 – 800,000 SSP per month.
