Job Overview
The Public-Private Partnership (PPP) Analyst will support the design, negotiation, and implementation of PPP projects that address critical infrastructure and service delivery gaps in Cameroon. Working within the PPP Department, you will conduct financial modeling, risk assessments, and stakeholder analyses to ensure projects are viable, transparent, and aligned with national development strategies. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain detailed financial models for PPP projects, including cash flow projections and sensitivity analyses.
- Conduct comprehensive risk assessments and propose mitigation strategies for each project.
- Prepare project feasibility studies, business cases, and investment memoranda for senior management and donors.
- Coordinate with government ministries, private investors, and multilateral partners to align project objectives.
- Facilitate public consultations and stakeholder engagement workshops to ensure transparency and community support.
- Support the drafting and negotiation of concession agreements, contracts, and legal documents.
- Monitor project implementation, track performance indicators, and prepare periodic progress reports.
- Contribute to knowledge sharing by documenting best practices and lessons learned for future PPP initiatives.
Required Skills
- Advanced financial modeling and valuation techniques.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and French.
- Proficiency in project management tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders.
- Knowledge of Cameroonian regulatory frameworks for PPPs.
Education
A Master’s degree in Economics, Finance, Public Policy, Business Administration, or a related discipline is required. Professional certifications such as CFA, PMP, or PPP-specific training are advantageous.
Experience
Applicants should have 5‑7 years of relevant experience in PPP advisory, investment banking, infrastructure finance, or a similar field. Experience working on projects in Africa, particularly in Cameroon, is highly valued.
Salary
The position offers a competitive salary ranging from 1,200,000 to 2,000,000 SSP per month, commensurate with experience and qualifications, along with performance‑based incentives.
