Job Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement high-quality software modules using modern programming languages such as Python, C++, or Java.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including hardware engineers and product managers, to define software requirements and specifications.
• Conduct thorough unit testing, integration testing, and debugging to ensure software reliability and performance.
• Optimize existing software code to improve efficiency, scalability, and resource utilization.
• Participate in code reviews to maintain high standards of code quality and knowledge sharing within the team.

Required Skills

• Experience with version control systems such as Git.
• Familiarity with Linux/Unix operating systems and command-line tools.
• Knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP, etc.) and software-defined networking concepts.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Strong communication skills in English, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Education

A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a closely related technical field is required. Candidates with a Master’s degree or equivalent professional certifications in software development will be given preference.

Experience

Applicants should possess a minimum of 3 to 5 years of professional experience in software development, preferably within the networking or telecommunications industry.
