Job Overview
The Sustainable Rubber Plantation Manager will be responsible for managing and overseeing the sustainable development of Michelin’s rubber plantations in Kumba, Cameroon. The successful candidate will have a strong background in agriculture, forestry, or a related field and experience in sustainable plantation management.
The Sustainable Rubber Plantation Manager will work closely with the plantation team to ensure that all operations are carried out in accordance with Michelin’s sustainability policies and procedures. The successful candidate will also be responsible for implementing and monitoring sustainable practices, reducing environmental impact, and promoting biodiversity.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the sustainable development of Michelin’s rubber plantations in Kumba, Cameroon
- Implement and monitor sustainable practices, reducing environmental impact, and promoting biodiversity
- Work closely with the plantation team to ensure that all operations are carried out in accordance with Michelin’s sustainability policies and procedures
- Develop and implement strategies to improve plantation productivity and efficiency
- Collaborate with local communities and stakeholders to promote sustainable development and environmental stewardship
Required Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Forestry, or related field
- At least 5 years of experience in sustainable plantation management
- Strong knowledge of sustainable practices and environmental management
- Excellent leadership and management skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
