Job Overview
This role involves evaluating the performance and sustainability of smart infrastructure projects in Mokolo. The auditor will assess compliance with international standards, identify risks, and recommend improvements to optimize urban systems. The position is ideal for professionals passionate about integrating technology with urban planning to create future-ready cities.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct audits of smart infrastructure projects (e.g., IoT-enabled utilities, intelligent transportation systems).
- Evaluate compliance with safety, sustainability, and regulatory standards.
- Prepare detailed reports with actionable recommendations for stakeholders.
- Collaborate with engineers and urban planners to implement corrective measures.
- Monitor project progress and ensure alignment with urban development goals.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in infrastructure auditing and risk assessment methodologies.
- Strong understanding of smart city technologies and urban planning principles.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with GIS and BIM software.
- Fluency in French and English.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Urban Planning, or a related field. A Master’s in Sustainable Infrastructure or Smart Cities is an asset.
Experience
3-5 years of experience in infrastructure auditing, urban development, or smart technology implementation. Prior experience in Cameroon or West Africa is preferred.
Salary
3,000,000 – 4,500,000 XAF per month, commensurate with experience.
