Job Overview
The Risk Management Analyst will play a pivotal role in identifying, assessing, and mitigating financial and operational risks within Standard Chartered Bank Cameroon. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive risk assessments for credit, market, and operational exposures.
- Develop and maintain risk models and dashboards to support decision‑making.
- Monitor regulatory changes and ensure the bank’s policies remain compliant.
- Prepare detailed risk reports for senior management and regulatory bodies.
- Collaborate with business units to embed risk awareness into daily operations.
- Assist in the development of risk mitigation strategies and action plans.
- Participate in stress testing and scenario analysis exercises.
Required Skills
- Strong analytical and quantitative abilities with proficiency in Excel and statistical software.

- Knowledge of Basel III, IFRS 9, and local banking regulations.
- Advanced understanding of risk management frameworks and methodologies.
Education
Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related discipline. A Master’s degree or professional certifications such as FRM (Financial Risk Manager) or PRM (Professional Risk Manager) are advantageous.
Experience
Applicants should possess 3‑5 years of relevant experience in risk analysis, preferably within a banking or financial services environment. Experience with risk modeling, credit risk assessment, and regulatory reporting is highly valued.
Salary
The compensation package ranges from 1,500,000 to 2,500,000 SSP per month, commensurate with experience and qualifications. The package includes performance‑based bonuses and other incentives.
