Job Overview
The Cloud Security Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the security of Microsoft’s cloud computing systems and infrastructure. The successful candidate will have a strong background in cloud security, with experience in designing and implementing secure cloud architectures, and a deep understanding of cloud security technologies and best practices.
The Cloud Security Engineer will work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, operations, and product management, to ensure that Microsoft’s cloud computing systems and infrastructure are secure, reliable, and meet the needs of customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain the security of Microsoft’s cloud computing systems and infrastructure
- Develop and implement cloud security architectures and solutions that meet the needs of customers
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that cloud computing systems and infrastructure are secure, reliable, and meet the needs of customers
- Conduct security risk assessments and provide recommendations for mitigating security risks
- Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and standards for cloud computing systems and infrastructure
Required Skills
- Strong background in cloud security, with experience in designing and implementing secure cloud architectures
- Deep understanding of cloud security technologies and best practices
- Experience with cloud security solutions, such as Azure Security Center and Azure Active Directory
- Strong understanding of security risk management and mitigation
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
Experience
5 years of experience in cloud security, with a focus on designing and implementing secure cloud architectures
