Job Overview

The Senior Cybersecurity Analyst will play a pivotal role in safeguarding Cisco’s regional operations and client ecosystems against evolving cyber threats. Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor, analyze, and respond to security alerts and incidents across Cisco’s network, cloud, and endpoint environments.
  • Develop and maintain threat intelligence feeds, incorporating global and local threat landscapes specific to Cameroon and Central Africa.
  • Conduct forensic investigations, root‑cause analysis, and post‑incident reviews to improve detection and response capabilities.
  • Design, implement, and fine‑tune security controls, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and endpoint protection solutions.
  • Collaborate with engineering, operations, and compliance teams to embed security best practices into product development and service delivery.
  • Prepare detailed incident reports and executive briefings for senior leadership and stakeholders.
  • Lead security awareness training sessions for internal staff and partner organizations.
  • Stay current with emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and regulatory requirements affecting the Cameroonian market.

Required Skills

  • Deep knowledge of network security protocols, SIEM tools, and threat hunting methodologies.
  • Proficiency with security frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, and CIS Controls.
  • Hands‑on experience with firewalls (e.g., Cisco ASA, Palo Alto), IDS/IPS, and endpoint detection and response (EDR) solutions.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities, with the capacity to work under pressure during high‑severity incidents.
