Job Overview

The Cybersecurity Threat Intelligence Analyst will play a pivotal role in identifying, analyzing, and mitigating cyber threats targeting Schneider Electric’s operations in Cameroon and the broader region. Reporting to the Head of Security Operations, the analyst will work closely with cross‑functional teams to develop actionable intelligence, support incident response, and enhance the organization’s security posture. Key Responsibilities

• Collect, analyze, and disseminate cyber threat intelligence from open‑source, commercial, and internal feeds.
• Monitor emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and attack vectors relevant to Schneider Electric’s technology stack.
• Produce daily and weekly intelligence reports for senior leadership and technical teams.
• Collaborate with incident response teams to provide contextual threat information during investigations.
• Develop and maintain threat models, playbooks, and detection rules for security monitoring platforms.
• Engage with industry peers, government agencies, and information sharing groups to stay abreast of regional threat trends.
• Support security awareness initiatives by delivering briefings on current threats to employees.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of the Threat Intelligence lifecycle and processes.

Required Skills

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to synthesize large volumes of data into actionable insights.
• Proficiency in threat intelligence platforms (e.g., MISP, ThreatConnect) and security information and event management (SIEM) tools.
• Knowledge of malware analysis, reverse engineering, and network forensics.
• Familiarity with ATT&CK framework and cyber kill chain methodologies.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; French proficiency is an advantage.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Understanding of industrial control systems (ICS) security is a plus.

Education

A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Cybersecurity, or a related discipline is required. Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or GCTI are highly desirable and demonstrate a commitment to professional development.

Experience

Applicants should have 3‑5 years of hands‑on experience in threat intelligence, cyber threat analysis, or a related security role. Experience within the energy, manufacturing, or critical infrastructure sectors is advantageous, as is prior exposure to the African cyber threat landscape.

Salary

The position offers a competitive salary range of 1,500,000 to 2,200,000 SSP per month, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Additional performance‑based incentives may be provided.
