Job Overview
The Supply Chain Analyst will play a pivotal role in optimizing the end‑to‑end flow of goods, from raw material procurement to finished product delivery. Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager, the analyst will leverage data analytics, forecasting tools and cross‑functional collaboration to enhance efficiency, reduce costs and support Nestlé’s growth strategy. Key Responsibilities
- Analyze demand patterns and generate accurate forecasts to support production planning.
- Monitor inventory levels across warehouses and recommend optimal reorder points.
- Collaborate with procurement, manufacturing, logistics and sales teams to resolve supply chain bottlenecks.
- Develop and maintain KPI dashboards that track service level, order fulfillment and cost metrics.
- Conduct root‑cause analysis of supply disruptions and propose corrective actions.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives such as Lean, Six Sigma and digital transformation projects.
- Prepare regular reports for senior management highlighting performance trends and risk assessments.
Required Skills
- Strong analytical abilities with proficiency in Excel, Power BI or Tableau.
- Knowledge of ERP systems (SAP, Oracle) and supply chain planning software.
- Excellent communication skills in French and English.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multicultural team.
- Problem‑solving mindset with attention to detail.
- Understanding of food safety regulations and import/export compliance is a plus.
Education
A Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, Engineering or a related discipline is required. Candidates with additional certifications such as APICS CPIM, CSCP or a Master’s degree will be given preference.
Experience
Applicants should have 3‑5 years of hands‑on experience in supply chain analysis, demand planning or inventory management, preferably within the food and beverage sector. Experience in a multinational environment and exposure to African markets will be considered advantageous.
Salary
The role offers a competitive monthly salary ranging from 800,000 to 1,200,000 SSP, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Performance‑based bonuses and cost‑of‑living adjustments are part of the total compensation package.
