Job Overview

The Production Line Supervisor will oversee daily operations on the main assembly line, ensuring that production targets are met while maintaining the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficiency. This position reports directly to the Production Manager and collaborates closely with engineering, quality assurance, and supply chain teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead a team of 20‑30 assembly operators, providing coaching, performance feedback, and shift scheduling.
• Monitor production KPIs, including output, cycle time, and defect rates, and implement corrective actions when needed.
• Ensure compliance with Samsung’s safety protocols, conducting regular toolbox talks and safety audits.
• Coordinate with the Materials Management team to guarantee timely availability of components and reduce downtime.
• Collaborate with Quality Assurance to address non‑conformities and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Maintain accurate production records, shift reports, and equipment maintenance logs.
• Participate in root‑cause analysis for process bottlenecks and propose engineering solutions.

Required Skills

• Strong leadership and team‑building abilities in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in interpreting technical drawings, work instructions, and SOPs.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills with a data‑driven mindset.
• Effective communication in both French and English.
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing tools such as 5S, Kaizen, and visual management.
• Ability to operate basic production software and handheld data collection devices.

Education

A Diploma or higher qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field is required. Certifications in lean manufacturing or production management are considered an advantage.

Experience

Candidates must have 3‑5 years of hands‑on experience on an electronics assembly line, with at least two years in a supervisory or lead role. Prior exposure to high‑volume consumer electronics production is highly desirable.

Salary
