Job Overview
We are currently seeking a meticulous and highly skilled Quality Assurance Engineer to join our manufacturing facility in Foumban. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive quality control inspection plans for incoming raw materials and finished goods.
- Conduct root cause analysis for any manufacturing deviations or product failures.
- Monitor production processes to ensure compliance with ISO standards and internal Siemens quality protocols.
- Collaborate with the engineering design team to improve product manufacturability and reduce waste.
- Prepare detailed quality reports and present findings to the plant management team.
- Oversee the calibration and maintenance of precision measurement equipment used in testing.
Required Skills
- Advanced proficiency in statistical process control (SPC) and quality management systems (QMS).
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex technical blueprints and CAD drawings.
- Expert knowledge of international manufacturing standards and safety regulations.
- Excellent communication skills for cross-departmental coordination.
- High attention to detail and a commitment to zero-defect manufacturing.
Education
A Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a closely related technical field is mandatory. Candidates with advanced certifications in Six Sigma or Lean Manufacturing will be given preference.
Experience
Applicants must possess a minimum of 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in a quality assurance or quality control role within a heavy manufacturing or industrial engineering setting. Proven experience in managing technical audits and implementing corrective actions is essential for success in this role.
Salary
The monthly salary for this position ranges from 450,000 SSP to 750,000 SSP, depending on the candidate’s experience level and technical expertise.
