Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Marine Biologist to join our team in Kribi, Cameroon. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading our marine conservation efforts in the region, working closely with local communities, governments, and other stakeholders to protect and restore marine ecosystems.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement marine conservation projects in collaboration with local communities and stakeholders
• Conduct research and monitoring of marine ecosystems to inform conservation efforts
• Work with governments and other organizations to develop and implement policies and regulations that support marine conservation
• Build and maintain relationships with local communities, governments, and other stakeholders to promote marine conservation
• Develop and manage project budgets and reports

Required Skills

• Master’s degree in marine biology or a related field
• At least 5 years of experience in marine conservation or a related field
• Strong knowledge of marine ecosystems and conservation principles
• Excellent communication and project management skills
• Ability to work in a team and build relationships with diverse stakeholders
