Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and optimize food processing workflows to maximize efficiency and product quality
- Conduct regular quality control tests and ensure compliance with local and international food safety standards
- Collaborate with R&D teams to test new product formulations and processing techniques
- Implement and maintain HACCP and GMP protocols across production lines
- Train production staff on best practices for hygiene, equipment operation, and waste reduction
- Analyze production data to identify areas for cost savings and process improvement
Required Skills
- Proven experience in food processing or beverage manufacturing environments
- Strong understanding of food safety regulations (e.g., ISO 22000, FSSC 22000)
- Proficiency in using food processing software and quality management systems
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot production issues
- Effective communication and leadership abilities to manage cross-functional teams
- Commitment to sustainability and waste reduction initiatives
Education
- Bachelor’s Degree in Food Science, Agricultural Engineering, or related discipline
- Advanced certification in food safety or quality assurance (e.g., HACCP, SQF) is an advantage
Experience
- 3-5 years of experience in food processing, quality control, or similar roles
- Experience in a multinational manufacturing environment preferred
Salary
1,500,000 – 2,500,000 XAF per month, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
