Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and optimize food processing workflows to maximize efficiency and product quality
• Conduct regular quality control tests and ensure compliance with local and international food safety standards
• Collaborate with R&D teams to test new product formulations and processing techniques
• Implement and maintain HACCP and GMP protocols across production lines
• Train production staff on best practices for hygiene, equipment operation, and waste reduction
• Analyze production data to identify areas for cost savings and process improvement

Required Skills

• Proven experience in food processing or beverage manufacturing environments
• Strong understanding of food safety regulations (e.g., ISO 22000, FSSC 22000)
• Proficiency in using food processing software and quality management systems
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot production issues
• Effective communication and leadership abilities to manage cross-functional teams
• Commitment to sustainability and waste reduction initiatives

Education

• Bachelor’s Degree in Food Science, Agricultural Engineering, or related discipline
• Advanced certification in food safety or quality assurance (e.g., HACCP, SQF) is an advantage

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in food processing, quality control, or similar roles
• Experience in a multinational manufacturing environment preferred

Salary

1,500,000 – 2,500,000 XAF per month, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
