Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Environmental Impact Assessment Specialist to join our team in Ebolowa, Cameroon. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting environmental impact assessments for our clients in the energy, mining, and infrastructure sectors. This is a full-time position that requires a strong background in environmental science and a proven track record of conducting environmental impact assessments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct environmental impact assessments for clients in the energy, mining, and infrastructure sectors
  • Develop and implement environmental management plans for clients
  • Conduct environmental monitoring and reporting for clients
  • Collaborate with clients to identify and mitigate environmental risks
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders

Required Skills

  • Master’s degree in Environmental Science or related field
  • 8-12 years of experience in environmental impact assessment and management
  • Strong knowledge of environmental regulations and policies in Cameroon
  • Excellent communication and project management skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Education

We require a Master’s degree in Environmental Science or a related field. A Ph.D. in Environmental Science or a related field is an asset.

Experience

We require 8-12 years of experience in environmental impact assessment and management. Experience working with clients in the energy, mining, and infrastructure sectors is an asset.

Salary

The salary for this position is 250,000 – 350,000 SSP per month, depending on experience.
