Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Cartography and Mapping Specialist to join our team in Mbalmayo, Cameroon. Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop geospatial data products, including maps, atlases, and digital databases
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and prioritize geospatial data needs
  • Analyze and interpret geospatial data to inform environmental monitoring and sustainable development initiatives
  • Develop and implement data quality control processes to ensure accuracy and consistency
  • Provide technical support and training to users of geospatial data products

Required Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Cartography, Geography, or related field
  • 2-5 years of experience in cartography, mapping, or related field
  • Strong knowledge of geospatial data analysis and mapping techniques
  • Proficiency in GIS software, such as ArcGIS or QGIS
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Cartography, Geography, or related field.

Experience

2-5 years of experience in cartography, mapping, or related field.

Salary

500,000 – 800,000 SSP per annum.
