Job Overview

The Railway Logistics Coordinator will play a pivotal role in managing the end‑to‑end rail freight operations that connect Maersk’s maritime services with inland distribution networks. Key Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule, and monitor rail shipments to ensure timely delivery of cargo across national and cross‑border routes.
• Coordinate with port operations, warehouses, and inland transport providers to synchronize multimodal movements.
• Maintain accurate documentation, including waybills, customs declarations, and safety reports.
• Monitor rail asset utilization, track performance metrics, and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with Cameroonian railway regulations, safety standards, and international trade requirements.
• Resolve operational disruptions, such as delays or equipment failures, by liaising with rail operators and internal stakeholders.
• Prepare regular operational reports for senior management and contribute to strategic planning sessions.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of rail freight operations, intermodal logistics, and supply‑chain principles.
• Proficiency in logistics management software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Education
