Job Purpose

The Procurement Business Partner will serve as the key interface between regional procurement teams and local business stakeholders, ensuring procurement strategies support operational priorities while delivering cost savings, efficiency, and supplier performance improvements.

Key Job Responsibilities

  • Work closely with Regional Procurement Business Partners and Global Procurement Teams to define and execute procurement strategies.
  • Align local purchasing needs with regional and global category management frameworks.
  • Act as the key procurement liaison for affiliate units, business leaders, and regional stakeholders.

Strategic Sourcing and Category Management

  • Lead and support local category sourcing activities through the complete procurement lifecycle.
  • Implement sourcing initiatives focused on cost optimization, supplier quality, and operational performance.
  • Collaborate with global category teams to execute procurement strategies effectively.

Stakeholder and Supplier Management

  • Engage internal stakeholders to identify procurement opportunities and align category plans with business priorities.
  • Build strong relationships with suppliers, internal departments, and regional teams.
  • Influence stakeholder decision-making and improve procurement performance objectives.

Contract Negotiation and Tendering

  • Gather procurement requirements and develop supplier requests for quotations and proposals.
  • Lead negotiation, sourcing, tendering, and contract finalization processes.
  • Ensure procurement agreements align with legal, operational, and financial expectations.

Procurement Systems and Process Improvement

  • Support Procure-to-Pay (P2P) systems and procurement operations.
  • Improve procurement workflows and implement new commercial models.
  • Promote best practices and procurement compliance across regional operations.

Educational Qualifications

  • Experience across Procurement Strategy, Strategic Sourcing, Category Management, Procure-to-Pay systems, and procurement operations.
  • Previous work experience in a global multinational corporation (MNC) environment.
