Job Overview

The UX Researcher will be responsible for conducting research to inform the design of IBM’s products and services. This will involve working closely with cross-functional teams, including design, product management, and engineering, to identify user needs and develop solutions that meet those needs.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in user experience research, with experience of conducting user interviews, usability testing, and other research methods. They will also have excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct user research to inform the design of IBM’s products and services
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to identify user needs and develop solutions that meet those needs
• Develop and maintain a deep understanding of user behavior and motivations
• Communicate research findings and recommendations to stakeholders
• Collaborate with designers, product managers, and engineers to develop user-centered solutions

Required Skills

• Strong background in user experience research
• Experience of conducting user interviews, usability testing, and other research methods
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Education

Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, such as human-computer interaction, psychology, or design.

Experience

5 years of experience in user experience research, with a strong track record of delivering high-quality research and insights.
