Job Overview
Cameroon Job Search is pleased to announce the availability of a Sustainable Tourism Development Manager position at Accor in Foumbot, Cameroon. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing sustainable tourism strategies that promote environmentally friendly practices and support local communities.
The Sustainable Tourism Development Manager will work closely with the hotel’s management team to identify opportunities for sustainable tourism development and implement initiatives that reduce the hotel’s environmental impact. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sustainable tourism development and a proven track record of success in implementing environmentally friendly initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement sustainable tourism strategies that promote environmentally friendly practices and support local communities
- Conduct research and analysis to identify opportunities for sustainable tourism development
- Collaborate with the hotel’s management team to implement initiatives that reduce the hotel’s environmental impact
- Develop and maintain relationships with local stakeholders, including community groups and government agencies
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of sustainable tourism initiatives
Required Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, such as hospitality management, environmental science, or sustainable tourism
- At least 5 years of experience in sustainable tourism development or a related field
- Proven track record of success in implementing environmentally friendly initiatives
- Strong research and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Education
