Job Overview
The Sustainable Textile Supply Chain Manager will be responsible for managing H&M’s textile supply chain in Cameroon, ensuring that all suppliers meet the company’s sustainability standards and requirements. The successful candidate will work closely with suppliers, internal stakeholders, and external partners to promote sustainable practices and reduce the environmental impact of H&M’s operations in Cameroon.
The Sustainable Textile Supply Chain Manager will be responsible for the following key responsibilities:
Key Responsibilities
- Manage H&M’s textile supply chain in Cameroon, ensuring that all suppliers meet the company’s sustainability standards and requirements.
- Work closely with suppliers, internal stakeholders, and external partners to promote sustainable practices and reduce the environmental impact of H&M’s operations in Cameroon.
- Develop and implement sustainable supply chain strategies and initiatives that align with H&M’s sustainability goals and objectives.
- Conduct regular audits and assessments of suppliers to ensure compliance with H&M’s sustainability standards and requirements.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop and implement sustainable materials and production methods that reduce the environmental impact of H&M’s products.
Required Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Sustainability, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in supply chain management, sustainability, or a related field.
- Proven track record of managing sustainable supply chains and promoting sustainable practices in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with suppliers, internal stakeholders, and external partners.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data and develop effective solutions.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Sustainability, or a related field.
Experience
At least 5 years of experience in supply chain management, sustainability, or a related field.
