Job Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sustainable Forest Management Specialist to join our team in Ebolowa, Cameroon. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing sustainable forest management plans, working closely with local communities and stakeholders to ensure the long-term conservation of Cameroon’s forests.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement sustainable forest management plans in collaboration with local communities and stakeholders
- Conduct forest assessments and monitoring to ensure the long-term conservation of Cameroon’s forests
- Work closely with local communities to develop and implement sustainable forest management practices
- Collaborate with government agencies and other stakeholders to develop and implement policies and regulations that support sustainable forest management
- Develop and manage budgets and reports for forest management projects
Required Skills
- At least 5 years of experience in forestry management or a related field
- Master’s degree in Forestry, Environmental Science, or a related field
- Strong knowledge of sustainable forest management practices and principles
- Excellent communication and project management skills
- Ability to work in a team and build strong relationships with local communities and stakeholders
Education
