Job Overview
The Sustainable Agriculture Specialist will be responsible for implementing and promoting sustainable agriculture practices among our farmers and suppliers. This will involve working closely with our farmers to implement conservation agriculture practices, such as crop rotation and cover cropping, and promoting the use of organic amendments and integrated pest management.
The successful candidate will also be responsible for monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of our sustainability initiatives and providing recommendations for improvement.

Key Responsibilities
- Implement and promote sustainable agriculture practices among our farmers and suppliers
- Work closely with farmers to implement conservation agriculture practices, such as crop rotation and cover cropping
- Promote the use of organic amendments and integrated pest management
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of our sustainability initiatives
- Provide recommendations for improvement
Required Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Environmental Science, or related field
- At least 5 years of experience in sustainable agriculture or a related field
- Strong knowledge of conservation agriculture practices and sustainable agriculture principles
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
