Job Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sustainable Agriculture Extension Officer to join our team in Bafang, Cameroon. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing our sustainable agriculture program, providing technical assistance to smallholder farmers, and promoting best practices in agricultural production.

Key Responsibilities
- Implement sustainable agriculture practices and provide technical assistance to smallholder farmers
- Promote best practices in agricultural production, including crop rotation, soil conservation, and integrated pest management
- Conduct training sessions and workshops for farmers on sustainable agriculture practices
- Monitor and evaluate the impact of our sustainable agriculture program on crop yields, environmental sustainability, and farmer livelihoods
- Collaborate with local stakeholders, including farmers, cooperatives, and government agencies, to promote sustainable agriculture practices
Required Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Agronomy, or related field
- At least 3 years of experience in sustainable agriculture, agricultural extension, or a related field
- Strong knowledge of sustainable agriculture practices, including crop rotation, soil conservation, and integrated pest management
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate with local stakeholders
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Agronomy, or related field
Experience
At least 3 years of experience in sustainable agriculture, agricultural extension, or a related field
