Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior IT Project Manager to join our team in Douala, Cameroon. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing IT projects from initiation to delivery, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

The Senior IT Project Manager will work closely with cross-functional teams, including IT, sales, and marketing, to ensure that project deliverables meet business requirements and are aligned with the company’s overall strategy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage IT projects from initiation to delivery, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Develop and manage project plans, resource allocation plans, and project schedules.
  • Coordinate and lead cross-functional teams, including IT, sales, and marketing, to ensure that project deliverables meet business requirements.
  • Conduct risk management and issue resolution to minimize project disruptions.
  • Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring that expenses are tracked and reported accurately.
  • Communicate project status, progress, and issues to stakeholders, including project sponsors, team members, and external partners.

Required Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 5-10 years of experience in IT project management, with a proven track record of delivering projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, including Agile, Waterfall, and Hybrid.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Experience

5-10 years of experience in IT project management, with a proven track record of delivering projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
