Job Overview

The Public Policy Analyst will join Deloitte’s Policy & Research department to support government agencies, NGOs, and private sector clients in designing, evaluating, and implementing policies that address critical socio‑economic challenges in Cameroon. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive policy research and analysis on topics such as economic development, education reform, health systems, and environmental sustainability.
• Gather, clean, and interpret quantitative and qualitative data from government databases, surveys, and stakeholder interviews.
• Develop policy briefs, white papers, and presentation decks that translate complex findings into clear recommendations for clients.
• Collaborate with senior consultants and subject‑matter experts to design evidence‑based policy frameworks.
• Monitor legislative and regulatory changes, assessing their implications for client strategies.
• Facilitate workshops and stakeholder engagement sessions to gather insights and build consensus.
• Support the preparation of grant proposals and funding applications for development projects.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of best practices in public policy, governance, and impact evaluation.

Required Skills

• Strong analytical abilities with proficiency in statistical software (e.g., STATA, R, SPSS) and data visualization tools.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and French.

Education
