Air Leasing Cameroon is hiring a Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) Specialist to support global energy access initiatives in collaboration with international teams across Yaoundé, East Africa, Europe, and the United States. This role is ideal for professionals seeking Monitoring and Evaluation jobs in Cameroon or energy sector jobs in Africa, with a focus on renewable energy, healthcare, and livelihood development. The position involves contributing to impact analysis, cost-benefit methodologies, and knowledge products that support clean energy adoption and sustainable development goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and apply robust monitoring and evaluation (M&E) frameworks
- Support cost-benefit analysis and value assessment of renewable energy projects
- Design and implement impact tracking systems for health and livelihood programs
- Coordinate baseline and end-line data collection and analysis with partners
- Analyze project outcomes and contribute to portfolio-level impact reporting
- Support policy engagement and outreach using evaluation insights
- Contribute to research papers, reports, and knowledge products
- Collaborate with communications teams to develop outreach materials
Requirements
- Master’s degree in economics, data science, or related field (or Bachelor’s with additional experience)
- M&E certification preferred
- 4–5 years of experience in monitoring and evaluation, preferably in energy or development sectors
- Strong analytical, writing, and communication skills
- Experience with socioeconomic impact evaluation is an advantage
- Ability to work in cross-cultural, global teams
- Valid work authorization in the country of application (visa sponsorship not available)
Salary & Benefits
- Salary range: $59,000 – $77,000 (if based in the United States)
- Compensation varies based on experience and location
