Key Responsibilities
- Perform advanced diagnostics and troubleshooting on high-pressure hydraulic circuits and components.
- Execute preventative and corrective maintenance on hydraulic pumps, valves, cylinders, and motors.
- Analyze system schematics and technical manuals to identify root causes of hydraulic failures.
- Collaborate with the onsite operations team to schedule maintenance windows that minimize production downtime.
- Oversee the testing and calibration of hydraulic pressure gauges and flow meters.
- Maintain detailed service logs and technical reports for all hydraulic interventions.
- Ensure all maintenance activities comply with international safety and environmental standards.
Required Skills
- Expertise in reading and interpreting complex hydraulic and pneumatic circuit diagrams.
- Proficiency in using specialized diagnostic tools and pressure testing equipment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills related to fluid mechanics.
- In-depth knowledge of heavy machinery components and industrial hydraulic systems.
- Excellent communication skills for technical reporting and team coordination.
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and occupational health protocols.
Education
A Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Fluid Power Technology, or a closely related engineering discipline is mandatory. Candidates with specialized certifications in hydraulic systems will be given preference.
Experience
A minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in the maintenance and repair of heavy-duty hydraulic systems within a manufacturing or construction environment is required. Proven experience working with large-scale industrial machinery is essential for success in this role.
Salary
The monthly salary for this position ranges from 450,000 SSP to 750,000 SSP, depending on experience and technical certifications. This package is competitive within the local engineering sector.
