Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Environmental Policy Analyst to join our team in Bertoua, Cameroon. The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing and developing policies that promote sustainable development and conservation in Cameroon.
The Environmental Policy Analyst will work closely with our policy and advocacy team to develop and implement effective policy strategies that address the most pressing environmental issues in Cameroon. This will involve analyzing data and research, developing policy briefs and reports, and engaging with stakeholders to promote our policy recommendations.

Key Responsibilities
- Analyze data and research to develop policy briefs and reports on environmental issues in Cameroon
- Develop and implement effective policy strategies that promote sustainable development and conservation
- Engage with stakeholders, including government officials, local communities, and other NGOs, to promote our policy recommendations
- Collaborate with our policy and advocacy team to develop and implement effective policy strategies
- Represent WWF in national and international forums to promote our policy recommendations
Required Skills
- At least 3 years of experience in environmental policy analysis
- Master’s degree in Environmental Policy, Environmental Science, or a related field
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a team and collaborate with stakeholders
