Job Overview

The Energy Management Solutions Engineer will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and optimizing energy management systems for Schneider Electric’s clients in Cameroon and the wider Central African region. This role blends technical expertise with consultative sales skills, enabling the engineer to deliver end‑to‑end solutions that reduce energy consumption, lower operational costs, and support clients’ sustainability goals. Key Responsibilities

  • Develop detailed project proposals, cost estimates, and ROI analyses to support the sales cycle.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to present technical solutions, respond to RFPs, and close deals.
  • Lead the implementation phase, coordinating with field engineers, contractors, and client stakeholders.
  • Perform system commissioning, testing, and performance validation to ensure compliance with specifications.
  • Provide post‑implementation support, including training, troubleshooting, and continuous optimization.
  • Stay updated on emerging energy technologies, regulatory changes, and market trends in Cameroon and the broader African region.
  • Contribute to the development of technical documentation, case studies, and best‑practice guides.
  • Represent Schneider Electric at industry conferences, workshops, and client meetings to promote brand visibility.

Required Skills

  • Strong knowledge of electrical engineering principles, power distribution, and renewable energy integration.
  • Proficiency with energy management software platforms, especially EcoStruxure.

  • Effective communication and presentation skills in both English and French.

Education
