Job Overview

Microsoft Cameroon is seeking a Digital Twin Engineer to design, develop, and deploy digital twin models for urban infrastructure, energy systems, and industrial processes. Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement digital twin models for infrastructure projects using tools like Unity, Unreal Engine, and Microsoft Azure.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate IoT data, AI algorithms, and real-time analytics into digital twin platforms.
  • Optimize simulation accuracy and performance for urban planning, energy grid management, and industrial automation applications.
  • Document technical specifications, conduct system testing, and ensure alignment with Microsoft’s global digital twin standards.
  • Provide technical support and training to stakeholders on digital twin deployment and usage.

Required Skills

  • Proficiency in digital twin development frameworks (Unity, Unreal Engine, or equivalent).
  • Strong programming skills in Python, C#, or JavaScript.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud).
  • Knowledge of IoT data integration and real-time analytics.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degrees (Master’s or PhD) are a plus.

Experience

3-5 years of experience in digital twin development, smart city projects, or industrial simulation technologies. Experience in Cameroon or other African markets is preferred.

Salary

500,000 – 800,000 SSP per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
