Job Overview

The Agricultural Supply Chain Analyst will play a pivotal role in optimizing end‑to‑end logistics for Cargill’s commodity portfolio in the Nkongsamba region. Reporting to the Regional Supply Chain Manager, you will analyze data, coordinate with farmers, transport partners, and processing facilities to ensure timely, cost‑effective movement of goods. Key Responsibilities

  • Collect, validate, and analyze supply chain data to identify bottlenecks and improvement opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain forecasting models for crop yields, transportation capacity, and inventory levels.
  • Coordinate with farm cooperatives, trucking firms, and processing plants to schedule pickups and deliveries.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as on‑time delivery, cost per ton, and waste reduction.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly performance reports for senior management.
  • Support the implementation of digital traceability tools to enhance transparency.
  • Collaborate with the sustainability team to ensure compliance with Cargill’s responsible sourcing standards.

Required Skills

  • Strong analytical abilities with proficiency in Excel, Power BI, or similar data‑visualization tools.
  • Excellent communication skills in English and French.
  • Knowledge of agricultural commodities and regional market dynamics.
  • Problem‑solving mindset with the ability to work under tight deadlines.
  • Experience with ERP or supply chain management software is a plus.

Education

A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Agribusiness, Agricultural Economics, or a related discipline is required. Advanced certifications such as APICS CPIM or CSCP are advantageous.

Experience

Applicants should have 3‑5 years of relevant experience in supply chain analysis, logistics, or commodity trading, preferably within the agricultural sector. Prior exposure to African markets will be considered an asset.

Salary

The compensation package ranges from 1,500,000 to 2,500,000 SSP per month, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Performance‑based bonuses are also part of the total rewards.
