Job Overview

The Aerospace Systems Engineer will join Airbus’s Engineering Department in Yaoundé, focusing on the design, integration, and validation of aircraft subsystems. Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of aircraft system architectures, including avionics, propulsion, and control systems.
• Conduct system integration tests, analyze results, and implement corrective actions to meet performance criteria.
• Collaborate with suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure component compatibility and compliance with international standards.
• Prepare technical documentation, specifications, and certification reports for regulatory bodies.

Required Skills

Education

A Master’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a closely related discipline is required. Advanced certifications in systems engineering or project management are considered a plus.

Experience

Applicants must have a minimum of five years of hands‑on experience in aerospace systems engineering, preferably within a multinational environment. Experience with both commercial and defense aircraft programs is highly desirable.
