Job Overview
The Aerospace Systems Engineer will join Airbus’s Engineering Department in Yaoundé, focusing on the design, integration, and validation of aircraft subsystems. Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of aircraft system architectures, including avionics, propulsion, and control systems.
- Conduct system integration tests, analyze results, and implement corrective actions to meet performance criteria.
- Collaborate with suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure component compatibility and compliance with international standards.
- Prepare technical documentation, specifications, and certification reports for regulatory bodies.

Required Skills
- Proficiency in systems engineering tools such as SysML, MATLAB/Simulink, and CATIA.

- Excellent communication skills for interfacing with multidisciplinary teams and external partners.
- Experience with aerospace standards (e.g., DO‑178C, ARP4754A) and certification processes.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting strict deadlines.
Education
A Master’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a closely related discipline is required. Advanced certifications in systems engineering or project management are considered a plus.
Experience
Applicants must have a minimum of five years of hands‑on experience in aerospace systems engineering, preferably within a multinational environment. Experience with both commercial and defense aircraft programs is highly desirable.
