Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior UX Researcher to join our team in Douala, Cameroon. As a Senior UX Researcher, you will play a critical role in shaping the user experience of our products and services, working closely with cross-functional teams to design and deliver innovative solutions that meet the needs of our customers.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in user research, with a proven track record of conducting research studies, analyzing data, and communicating insights to stakeholders. You will be responsible for developing and executing research plans, recruiting participants, conducting interviews and usability testing, and analyzing data to inform design decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute research plans to inform design decisions and product development
- Conduct user research studies, including interviews, usability testing, and surveys
- Analyze data and communicate insights to stakeholders, including designers, product managers, and executives
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and deliver innovative solutions that meet customer needs
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of our customers, their needs, and their pain points
Required Skills
- 5-7 years of experience in user research, with a proven track record of conducting research studies and analyzing data
- Strong background in human-computer interaction, psychology, or a related field
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate complex research findings to non-technical stakeholders
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data and draw meaningful insights
- Experience with research tools and methodologies, including usability testing, interviews, and surveys
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Psychology, or a related field.
Experience
5-7 years of experience in user research, with a proven track record of conducting research studies and analyzing data.
