Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Geospatial Data Scientist to join our team in Yaoundé, Cameroon. As a Geospatial Data Scientist, you will play a key role in helping our clients to analyze and understand their data in the context of location.

You will work closely with our clients to understand their business needs and develop solutions that meet their requirements. You will also work with our team of developers, analysts, and other stakeholders to design and implement geospatial data solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement geospatial data solutions for clients
  • Work with clients to understand their business needs and develop solutions that meet their requirements
  • Collaborate with developers, analysts, and other stakeholders to design and implement geospatial data solutions
  • Conduct data analysis and modeling to identify trends and patterns
  • Develop and maintain databases and data systems

Required Skills

  • Master’s degree in Computer Science, Geography, or a related field
  • 5 years of experience in geospatial data analysis and modeling
  • Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, R, or SQL
  • Experience with geospatial data software such as ArcGIS or QGIS
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

Education

A Master’s degree in Computer Science, Geography, or a related field is required.

Experience

5 years of experience in geospatial data analysis and modeling is required.
