Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Agricultural Extension Officer to join our team in Ngaoundéré, Cameroon. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical assistance and support to small-scale farmers and rural communities in the implementation of agricultural development projects.
The Agricultural Extension Officer will work closely with local stakeholders, including farmers, community leaders, and government officials, to identify and address the needs of rural communities and develop effective extension services.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in agriculture, experience in extension services, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical assistance and support to small-scale farmers and rural communities in the implementation of agricultural development projects.
- Conduct needs assessments and develop effective extension services to address the needs of rural communities.
- Work closely with local stakeholders, including farmers, community leaders, and government officials, to identify and address the needs of rural communities.
- Develop and implement training programs for farmers and rural communities on agricultural best practices and technologies.
- Monitor and evaluate the impact of extension services on rural communities and make recommendations for improvement.
Required Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture or related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in extension services or a related field.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong background in agriculture and experience working with small-scale farmers and rural communities.
- Ability to work in a team and build strong relationships with local stakeholders.
