Job Overview
The Data Warehouse Architect will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining large-scale data warehouses that support business intelligence and analytics. The successful candidate will have a strong background in data warehousing, data modeling, and data architecture, as well as experience with data visualization tools and technologies.
The Data Warehouse Architect will work closely with cross-functional teams, including business stakeholders, data analysts, and IT professionals, to design and implement data warehouses that meet business requirements and support strategic decision-making.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of data warehousing concepts, data modeling techniques, and data architecture principles. They will also have experience with data visualization tools, such as Power BI, Tableau, or QlikView, and will be able to design and implement data visualizations that support business intelligence and analytics.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain large-scale data warehouses that support business intelligence and analytics
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to design and implement data warehouses that meet business requirements and support strategic decision-making
- Develop data models and data architectures that support business intelligence and analytics
- Design and implement data visualizations that support business intelligence and analytics
- Work with data analysts and IT professionals to ensure that data warehouses are properly integrated with other systems and tools
Required Skills
- Strong background in data warehousing, data modeling, and data architecture
- Experience with data visualization tools, such as Power BI, Tableau, or QlikView
- Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts, data modeling techniques, and data architecture principles
- Experience working with cross-functional teams, including business stakeholders, data analysts, and IT professionals
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
