Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Agricultural Extension Specialist to join our team in Maroua, Cameroon. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical assistance to farmers, farmer organizations, and other stakeholders to improve agricultural productivity and sustainability.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical assistance to farmers, farmer organizations, and other stakeholders to improve agricultural productivity and sustainability
- Develop and implement agricultural extension programs to promote best practices in agriculture
- Conduct training sessions and workshops for farmers, extension agents, and other stakeholders
- Collaborate with other organizations and stakeholders to promote agricultural development in Cameroon
Required Skills
- Master’s degree in Agricultural Sciences, Agronomy, or related field
- At least 5 years of experience in agricultural extension services
- Strong knowledge of agricultural practices and technologies
- Excellent communication and training skills
- Ability to work in a team and collaborate with other stakeholders
