Job Overview

The Financial Inclusion Specialist will design and implement programs that connect marginalized populations to banking services, digital payment platforms, and microfinance solutions. Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute financial inclusion strategies tailored to rural and low-income communities.
  • Partner with microfinance institutions to design affordable loan products and savings schemes.
  • Conduct training workshops on digital financial literacy and mobile banking for local populations.
  • Monitor and evaluate program impact using KPIs such as account penetration rates and transaction volumes.
  • Collaborate with policymakers to advocate for regulatory frameworks supporting inclusive finance.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience in financial inclusion, microfinance, or development economics.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
  • Familiarity with mobile money platforms and fintech innovations.
  • Fluency in English and French (preferred).

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Economics, or related field. Advanced degrees (MBA, Master’s in Public Policy) are a plus.

Experience

3-5 years of experience in financial services, development programs, or microfinance. Prior work in Sub-Saharan Africa is advantageous.

Salary

500,000 – 700,000 SSP per month, commensurate with experience.
