Job Overview

Yaoundé Central Hospital is recruiting Registered Nurses to provide patient-centered care in Yaoundé. Nurses will assist physicians, deliver clinical care, and uphold high standards of healthcare.

Ideal candidates must have strong clinical knowledge, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a hospital environment.

Key Responsibilities

Assess and monitor patient health, vital signs, and treatment progress.

Administer medications, injections, and IV fluids.

Assist in diagnostic procedures, surgeries, and medical interventions.

Maintain accurate medical records and patient documentation.

Implement infection control and hospital safety protocols.

Educate patients and families on healthcare management and disease prevention.

Participate in emergency care and critical care procedures.

Collaborate with healthcare teams for care coordination and planning.

Mentor junior nurses and provide clinical supervision.

Uphold professional ethics and confidentiality.

Candidate Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Nursing

Registered with the Order of Nurses of Cameroon

3–5 years clinical experience

Knowledge of patient care standards, clinical procedures, and nursing ethics

Strong teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills

Ability to work shifts including nights and weekends

Annual Salary: Approximately XAF 4,800,000 – XAF 6,800,000 per year
