Job Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sustainable Forest Management Specialist to join our team in Ebolowa, Cameroon. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading our efforts to promote sustainable forest management in Cameroon, and for working with local communities, governments, and businesses to achieve our conservation goals.
The Sustainable Forest Management Specialist will be responsible for developing and implementing sustainable forest management plans, for working with local communities to promote sustainable forest use, and for collaborating with governments and businesses to promote sustainable forest management practices.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement sustainable forest management plans
- Work with local communities to promote sustainable forest use
- Collaborate with governments and businesses to promote sustainable forest management practices
- Conduct research and analysis on sustainable forest management practices
- Develop and implement monitoring and evaluation systems to track progress
Required Skills
- Master’s degree in forestry, environmental science, or a related field
- At least 5 years of experience in sustainable forest management
- Strong knowledge of sustainable forest management practices and principles
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to prioritize tasks effectively
