Job Overview

GreenBuild Cameroon seeks a visionary Sustainable Construction Project Manager to lead green building initiatives in Buea. This role will oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of sustainable infrastructure projects, ensuring compliance with environmental standards and international green building certifications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement project plans for sustainable construction projects
  • Coordinate with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure eco-friendly design integration
  • Monitor compliance with LEED, BREEAM, or equivalent green building standards
  • Manage budgets, timelines, and resources for large-scale construction projects
  • Engage with local communities to address environmental and social concerns
  • Prepare progress reports and ensure adherence to safety and quality protocols

Required Skills

  • Proven expertise in sustainable construction methodologies
  • Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Primavera, MS Project)
  • Strong understanding of renewable energy systems and materials
  • Excellent leadership and cross-cultural communication skills

Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Environmental Engineering, or related field
  • Preferred: LEED AP or Green Building Certification

Experience

  • Minimum 5 years in construction project management

Salary

500,000 – 700,000 SSP per annum, commensurate with experience.
