Job Overview

This role is part of Siemens Gamesa’s initiative to advance Cameroon’s renewable energy transition. The Renewable Energy Systems Analyst will support the design, optimization, and monitoring of wind and hybrid energy systems. Key Responsibilities

• Analyze wind energy potential and system performance using GIS and energy modeling tools.
• Conduct feasibility studies for hybrid renewable energy systems (wind, solar, storage).
• Prepare technical reports and presentations for project stakeholders and regulatory bodies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize energy system designs for cost, efficiency, and environmental impact.
• Monitor and evaluate the performance of installed systems post-deployment.

Required Skills

• Proficiency in energy simulation software (e.g., HOMER, RETScreen).
• Strong analytical skills in data interpretation and system optimization.
• Experience with environmental impact assessments and sustainability frameworks.
• Excellent communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Fluency in English and French is preferred.

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Renewable Energy Systems.
• Master’s degree or professional certification in Energy Systems or Environmental Science is an asset.

Experience
