Job Overview

The E-commerce Growth Strategist will be responsible for designing and implementing data-driven strategies to increase market share and customer acquisition in the West African region. You will analyze consumer behavior, optimize conversion funnels, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure a seamless shopping experience. Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute comprehensive growth strategies to increase monthly active users (MAU).
  • Analyze large datasets to identify trends, market gaps, and customer pain points.
  • Collaborate with the logistics and supply chain teams to optimize delivery timelines.
  • Manage digital advertising budgets across various social and search platforms.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) including Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC) and Lifetime Value (LTV).
  • Identify new product categories that resonate with the local Cameroonian demographic.

Required Skills

  • Advanced proficiency in data analytics tools such as SQL, Tableau, or Excel.
  • Deep understanding of digital marketing funnels and performance marketing.
  • Strong project management capabilities and ability to lead cross-functional initiatives.
  • Excellent communication skills in both English and French.
  • Strategic mindset with a focus on scalable growth models.

Education

A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Economics, Statistics, or a related business discipline is required. An MBA or advanced degree in Data Science is highly preferred for this role.

Experience

Candidates must possess 3 to 5 years of proven experience in digital marketing, e-commerce management, or business development within a fast-paced tech environment. Experience in the African retail market is a significant advantage.

Salary

The monthly salary for this position ranges from 450,000 SSP to 750,000 SSP, depending on experience and performance metrics.
