Job Overview
The Data Governance Specialist will be responsible for developing and implementing data governance policies and procedures to ensure the quality, security, and compliance of Microsoft’s data assets.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in data governance and data management, and will be able to work closely with stakeholders across the organization to develop and implement data governance policies and procedures.
The Data Governance Specialist will also be responsible for ensuring that Microsoft’s data assets are compliant with relevant laws and regulations, and for identifying and mitigating data-related risks.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement data governance policies and procedures to ensure the quality, security, and compliance of Microsoft’s data assets.
- Work closely with stakeholders across the organization to develop and implement data governance policies and procedures.
- Ensure that Microsoft’s data assets are compliant with relevant laws and regulations.
- Identify and mitigate data-related risks.
- Develop and maintain data governance metrics and reports to measure the effectiveness of data governance policies and procedures.
Required Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in data governance and data management.
- Strong knowledge of data governance principles and practices.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
