Job Overview

The Cloud Solutions Architect will design, implement, and optimize cloud architectures for Oracle’s diverse client base in Cameroon and the broader Central African region. Key Responsibilities

  • Design end‑to‑end cloud solutions that meet client business objectives, performance criteria, and security standards.
  • Lead technical workshops and proof‑of‑concept sessions to demonstrate Oracle Cloud capabilities.
  • Develop migration roadmaps, including assessment, planning, execution, and post‑migration optimization.
  • Collaborate with sales teams to craft compelling proposals, cost estimates, and value propositions.
  • Implement governance, compliance, and cost‑management frameworks tailored to local regulations.
  • Provide ongoing technical mentorship to junior architects and engineers.
  • Stay current with emerging cloud technologies, industry trends, and competitive offerings.

Required Skills

  • Deep expertise in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) and major public clouds (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Strong knowledge of networking, security, storage, and database services in cloud environments.
  • Proficiency in infrastructure‑as‑code tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
  • Excellent problem‑solving abilities and a customer‑centric mindset.
  • Effective communication skills in English and French, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to translate complex technical concepts into business value.

Education

A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline is required. A master’s degree or relevant certifications (e.g., OCI Architect Professional, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect Expert) are highly desirable and will be considered a strong advantage.

Experience

Applicants must have a minimum of five years of hands‑on experience designing and deploying cloud solutions for enterprise clients. Prior experience in a consulting or professional services environment, especially within the Central African market, will be viewed favorably.

Salary

The compensation package ranges from 1,200,000 to 2,000,000 Central African CFA Francs (SSP) per month, commensurate with experience, certifications, and performance. The package includes performance‑based bonuses, health insurance, and a retirement savings plan.
