Job Overview
As a Carbon Footprint Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in assessing and optimizing carbon reduction strategies for corporate and governmental clients. This position requires expertise in data analysis, sustainability frameworks, and stakeholder engagement to drive measurable environmental impact.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive carbon footprint assessments for industries and public sector organizations.
- Develop customized carbon reduction roadmaps aligned with global sustainability standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement carbon offset initiatives.
- Monitor and report on carbon emission trends using advanced analytics tools.
- Provide training and capacity-building workshops for local stakeholders.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in carbon accounting software (e.g., Carbon Trust, GHG Protocol).
- Strong analytical skills with experience in environmental data interpretation.
- Excellent communication abilities for client presentations and technical reporting.
- Familiarity with Cameroonian environmental regulations and policies.
- Fluency in English and French (preferred).
Education
Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Science, Climate Studies, or related field. Advanced degrees (Master’s) in Sustainability or Environmental Management are advantageous.
Experience
3-5 years of experience in carbon footprint analysis, environmental consulting, or sustainability project management. Prior work in Africa or emerging markets is a plus.
Salary
1,500,000 – 2,500,000 SSP annually, commensurate with experience and project impact.
