Job Overview
The Blockchain Solutions Architect will design, develop, and deploy blockchain-based systems tailored to the needs of Cameroon’s evolving digital economy. This role requires expertise in decentralized technologies, smart contracts, and enterprise integration. Candidates will contribute to IBM’s mission of fostering technological sovereignty in Africa while supporting Cameroon’s national digital transformation agenda.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement blockchain solutions for clients in sectors such as agriculture, healthcare, and logistics.
- Conduct feasibility studies and technical assessments for blockchain adoption.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate blockchain with existing IT infrastructure.
- Provide training and technical support to stakeholders on blockchain platforms.
- Monitor industry trends and recommend innovative applications of blockchain technology.
Required Skills
- Proven experience with blockchain frameworks like Hyperledger, Ethereum, or IBM Blockchain.
- Strong programming skills in Solidity, Python, or JavaScript.
- Understanding of cryptographic protocols and distributed systems.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and analytical thinking.
- Fluency in English and proficiency in French (preferred).
Education
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Advanced certifications in blockchain development (e.g., IBM Blockchain Professional Certificate) are advantageous.
Experience
- 3-5 years of professional experience in blockchain architecture or software development.
- Experience working on enterprise-level blockchain projects in Africa is a plus.
Salary
