Job Overview
Cargill Cameroon seeks a dynamic Agroforestry Project Manager to lead initiatives that integrate tree-based farming systems with crop and livestock production in the Garoua region. This role will focus on enhancing soil health, biodiversity, and rural livelihoods through scalable agroforestry models aligned with global sustainability goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement agroforestry projects that combine native tree species with smallholder farming practices.
- Collaborate with local farmers, NGOs, and government agencies to promote climate-resilient land use strategies.
- Monitor and evaluate project impacts on carbon sequestration, water conservation, and food security.
- Secure funding through grants and partnerships with international development organizations.
- Develop training programs for farmers on sustainable agroforestry techniques and value chain integration.
Required Skills
- Proven expertise in agroforestry project design and management.
- Strong understanding of climate-smart agriculture and land degradation solutions.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and cross-cultural communication skills.

Education
